TVR United rounded off their T&A League campaign in convincing fashion against West Bowling United, winning 8-1 to clinch the title in their debut season.
Although Thornbury Youth ran them close and will finish second, TVR had the staying power to last out the campaign.
The hosts took just ten minutes to get on the scoresheet when Mohammed Ishmaeel netted from close range and five minutes later Faisel Shabir doubled the lead.
A length-of-the-field move saw Ashiq Iqbal make it 3-0 after 25 minutes. Then defender Kamran Zulfaker ran from his own penalty area to put the hosts four up.
The visitors responded after 35 minutes but the reprieve was short-lived as Iqbal netted his second goal before the break.
The second half was once again dominated by the new champions, Iqbal completing his hat-trick on the hour and Atif Shezad adding a seventh before Shabir rounded off the rout.
It had been a one-sided contest, with man of the match Kamran Zulfkar in commanding form throughout for the newly-crowned champions.
Thornbury Youth had to win all their remaining matches to stand any chance and they duly beat Bradford All Stars 4-1.
Two first-half strikes from Toseef Arshad and Temour Khan put them in charge at the interval and then a brace from man of the match Sajid Ali secured the victory. But it proved to be in vain because of the result elsewhere.
