FA Women’s Premier League Northern Division One leaders Guiseley Vixens entertain third-placed Chester-le-Street knowing victory would kill off the Durham side's chance of the title and move them within three points of becoming champions.

It would be Guiseley's second Division One top finish in three years and they will be hoping they are better equipped for Northern Premier Division survival than last time.

A 2-0 win at Mossley Hill, with goals from Liv Thackray and Olivia Dacosta, has put them in good heart for Wednesday's clash with Bradford City at the County FA ground in the semi-final of the County Cup.

Brighouse Town hope to continue their climb in Division One when they entertain bottom club Tranmere Rovers fresh from the emphatic 7-0 midweek win over North East Regional League, Southern Division, leaders Farsley Celtic in their County Cup semi-final.

Jodie Redgrave 4, Danielle Brown, Lauren Doyle and Charlotte Proud were the Brighouse scorers.

Farsley Celtic need a point from their trip to Sheffield Wednesday to clinch their title, and promotion to the Regional League Premier Division, while in the West Riding County Women’s League, Bradford Park Avenue are assured of Premier Division survival despite a 4-0 defeat at the hands of Hepworth United.

Avenue have been successful in contesting one of the three point deductions they received for alleged documentation irregularities ahead of the clash with champions elect Leeds Medics and Dentists at Harold Park, Low Moor.
