FIELD bowed out of the West Yorkshire League Cup as they suffered a 3-0 defeat against Carlton Athletic in the third round.
The match was played at neutral Ossett Town and Field found themselves two goals down before half-time.
They changed their formation during the second half and took the game to Carlton.
They thought they had a penalty when Aiden Day was bundled over but the referee dismissed their claims.
With ten minutes to go, Athletic wrapped up the tie with their third goal.
Field assistant manager Barry Dunne said: "After an even 20 minutes, we were put under a lot of pressure and the outcome was fair."
