GIRLINGTON climbed off the foot of the Premier Division table with a narrow 4-3 win over Savile Youth in the Spen Valley League.
Mohammed Qasim scored twice and Umar Zahoor also claimed a brace to see off the third-placed visitors.
Division One leaders George Healy were emphatic 6-0 winners against nearest challengers Marsh courtesy of a Reece Scholes hat-trick, with Luke Newsome, Benho Aparicio and Matty Parkinson also on target.
Savile Town held third-placed Inter Batley 2-2 as goals by Zubair Hussain and Noman Hussain cancelled out those from Awaad Ahmed and Siddique Yoosof.
