THERE were goals aplenty in the latest round of Spen Valley League matches, with 37 coming in the five matches.
The most exciting game was between hosts Idle and Hightown Jets, who lost 5-4.
Jack Strudwick (3) and Ryan Mitchell (2) netted for Idle, while there were braces by Theo Bujra and Ben McCardle and a single for Abdur Rahim as Palestino defeated Savile Youth 5-1.
Hartshead had Fenton, Folan and Leeming on target in their 3-3 home draw against White Abbey Road, with Waheed Khan (2) and Qaisar Qafor replying, while Vision went down 6-3 at home to Savile United, Josh Mortimor (2) and Chris Benn getting the consolation goals.
Mount Pleasant beat Savile Town 6-1 thanks to goals from Saif Akbar (4), Muhammad Omar and Sufyaan Hafeez.
