A SALE of football memorabilia next month will be held next month at Cleckheaton Cricket Club, which will benefit both the hosts and Bradford Burns Unit.
It will be held on Thursday, May 7 (7.30pm) and the programmes, books etc have come from a long-standing care home resident who has recently died.
All items have been priced up and there will be cash-only transactions, with the first £200 going to the Burns Unit and anything above that being split 50-50 between the unit and the cricket club.
Included in the vast, pristine collection are many News of the World football annuals, books, dvds and programmes, including the Burnley v Tottenham Hotspur 1962 FA Cup final, which is currently available for £22 on a website.
There are also numerous Manchester United programmes, from the 1950s and 1960s, and all items will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
