BRADFORD City, having secured a place in the third round of the FA Women's Cup with a 3-2 local derby win at home to Huddersfield Town, now turn their attention to the defence of the West Riding County FA Cup with a quarter-final tie at home to Wetherby Athletic.

City's FA Cup progress was hard earned as they let slip a two-goal lead before hitting back to win it with a late penalty from Rachel Lee – her second goal of the game – after Aqsa Mushtaq had been upended as she closed in on goal. Danielle Whitham was the other scorer.

With a home tie against Midland Division One side Reedswood in the next round on February 1, City are just two wins away from joining the last eight Women's Super League clubs in the last 16 of the competition.

Although City are favourites to see off North East Regional League (South) side Wetherby on Sunday, their visitors are in good form and were 3-0 winners over Ossett Albion in their last game as they push for promotion.

Albion, struggling at second-bottom in the North East Regional League Southern Division, face a visit from Premier League (North) First Division promotion-chasers Leeds in the County Cup quarter-finals and could face a backlash after Leeds' 3-1 FA Cup exit at Premier leaders Coventry City.

In the other ties, Brighouse Town are at home to Brayton Belles and Farsley AFC entertain Bradford Park Avenue.

In the Premier League Division One (North), second-placed Guiseley have a chance to close the gap on leaders Liverpool Feds when they host second-bottom Middlesbrough.

In the Reserve Division, Bradford City – having lost top spot to Newcastle after their game at home to Mansfield was postponed – are again idle as they have no scheduled fixture.

Guiseley Reserves are at home to Mansfield on Sunday and Leeds are at Newcastle in the same division.

Brighouse Town, nine points behind the leaders but with four games in hand, were 2-1 winners over Whitley Bay in their last NE Regional Premier Division game. In the Southern Division, Farsley lost ground in the promotion race with a 3-0 defeat at home to Doncaster Belles.

In the West Riding League Premier, bottom club Keighley Oaks are at Brighouse Athletic.

In Division Two, Dewsbury Rangers earned their first win – beating Thornes 2-1 – ahead of their game at bottom club Middleton, while leaders Bradford City A are at Wetherby Athletic Reserves hoping to make it a Bradford double over Wetherby.

Tyersal, 4-0 winners at Battyeford Belles Reserves with goals from Sarah Opie (2), Lauren Burnett and Jaimielee Lukacs, have moved third in Division Three but are without a game this week.
