After 18 minutes, Bowling went further ahead after a Jordon Lee Hagyard corner found O'Brien in the box and his shot was deflected into the net by a defender.

Hagyard, playing at left back, then raced down the wing and his precision cross was skilfully converted by Glyn Hirst.

The main surprise was that the score stayed the same up to half-time, with Buttershaw keeper Mark House making some fine saves.

The second half was just a minute old when Bowling struck again.

Hagyard's pass up the wing found Andrew Kenyon and he squared the ball to Hirst, who scored from the edge of the box.

After 65 minutes, another pass from man of the match Hagyard found Wood, who calmly placed his shot into the corner.

A cross into the box was acrobatically converted with a overhead kick from Kenyon for the second game in a row, having completed the same trick against Bradford Moor.

Kenyon was then brought down in the box, allowing Wood to complete his treble from the spot.

A long pass from Shaun Jackson then found Kenyon ,who made no mistake to complete the scoring.

Both teams went down to ten men after they had used up their substitutes and the score could have been a lot more if not for visiting keeper House, who was kept busy for the full 90 minutes.

Bradford Moor were too strong for White Eagles, winning 7-2 thanks to skipper Sultan Khan with a brace and Mohammed Ismaeel hitting five. Matthew Dempsey and Jermaine Springer replied for the home side.
