WEST Bowling moved into the quarter-finals of the County FA Sunday Cup beating Chapeltown Fforde Green 5-2 at Emsley’s Rec.

Bowling went in front after 25 minutes a defence-splitting pass by Chris Wood found Aidan Day and he made no mistake from close range.

Damian Melvin added a second before the break but the Leeds side hit back after the restart to reduce the arrears.

They began pressing for an equaliser but skipper Nick Cowling and Wood, playing in an unfamiliar position, stood firm.

Jagger saw his shot come down off the underside of the bar before Melvin scored his fourth and Bowling's fifth goal.
