THIRD-placed Peel Park shared eight goals and the points in a nail-biting Bradford Sunday Alliance League PREMIER DIVISION home clash with West Bowling.

The hosts took the lead through 50-year-old Allan Morley senior. Aidan Day pulled one back for the visitors immediately afterwards but AdamTurner put Park two goals in front – one a breathtaking finish from 25 yards.

Bowling pulled one back against the run of play on half-time through Joe Jagger.

The visitors piled on the pressure, gaining an equaliser midway through the second half through Day.

The home team took the lead again through a Sean Jack finish but Bowling rallied and equalised in the dying seconds through Jordan Haggard to share the points in a thriller.

Long-time leaders Stanningley Albion stay in pole position following a hard-earned victory at Sandy Lane.

Two long-range efforts by Chad Morris and a third from Andy Kenyon ensured there was no way back for Lane.

Thornton United are hot on Albion's heels in second place and are scoring goals for fun at the moment.

There were six different scorers in their demolition of bottom club Bradford Moor at the weekend, with strikes by Josh Milner, Kurt Pendlebury, Andy Tasker, Toby Rawcliffe, Luke Hepton and Ryan Canning plus an own goal.

Buttershaw Celtic and fellow promoted club Napoleons Casino clashed in a relegation battle and Celtic took three priceless points to climb above their rivals. In an emphatic 8-0 victory, Buttershaw – who were at full strength for the first time this season – were six up at half-time.

Goals came courtesy of Jordan Northin, Michael Nicholson, Kane Ramsden and a brace each from Jamie Brennan and Dan O'Donnell.

Leaders Oakenshaw had a convincing 4-1 victory over Manningham, with Ben Magee possessing the Midas touch, scoring all four goals to overshadow the performance of former Bantams player Luke O'Brien.

Bolton Woods Social and last season's Bradford & District Cup semi-finalists Swaine Green shared 14 goals but only had a point each to show for their efforts.

White Eagles met Allerton for the second time in close succession and once again the match finished all square between the second and third-placed clubs. Eagles dominated the first half on the small Prune Park pitch and went into half-time leading 2-0 thanks to Craig Smith and Tobiah Pascal.

The second half started with Eagles on top again, although Allerton, playing down the slope and with the wind at their backs, started to find a lot more of the ball without having a real effort on goal.

A curling 20-yard effort was then clawed out of the air by Eagles keeper Andy Smith. Eagles were comfortable at this point before a penalty got Allerton back into the match and then a header from a corner restored parity.

Both sides had chances to win the game, with a Pascal header superbly tipped over the bar by the Allerton keeper while Eagles keeper Smith saved the best to last with an astounding stop from close range.

The win leaves United just off the pace in mid-table.

The home side demolished the visitors 10-0 with an inspired hat-trick from new boy Olusiji Akinlusi in the last ten minutes after coming on as a substitute. Further goals from top scorer Mick Dougan (4), Anthony Preston, Delvyn Duggan and Brian Gardian helped lift the Titans off the bottom of DIVISION 3A.
