Toolstation Northern Counties East League Premier Division: Albion Sports 0 Hemsworth MW 4
ALBION Sports' Lions suffered another huge blow last night as they were heavily beaten at home by former Bradford Park Avenue and Bantams’ midfielder Wayne Benn’s Hemsworth.
Kulwinder Sandhu had brought in new signings in Guiseley youngster Devonte Morton and James Carlton to boost a squad that was depleted as captain Michael O’Brien, James Firth and Karl Hall were all injured.
The hosts had a good ten-minute opening spell but it was one-way traffic after that as Hemsworth outbattled Albion.
Billy Law opened the scoring and added a second before the interval.
Former Thackley midfielder Law completed his hat-trick after the break, and Nick Guest wrapped up the scoring.
There was better news from Scotchman Road as Campion enjoyed a home win in Division One.
James Bicknell’s side beat Yorkshire Amateur’s 3-0 to win a Bradford-Leeds derby.
Eli Hey bagged a first-half brace, and Josh Cooke added a third after the break.
