ALBION Sports were denied a home game because of the weather in midweek but they will be determined to dent high flying Handsworth Parramore’s title challenge at Throstle Nest tomorrow.

Handsworth are currently second in the Toolstation Northern Counties East Premier Division table and just one point off the summit but have played one more game than leaders Tadcaster Albion.

Albion’s focus is finishing as high as they can as there are just six games of their season remaining, their visitors have double that amount remaining and still have their sights on finishing as champions.

Basement outfit Liversedge won their first game since Halloween in midweek when they played their first home game since that last Saturday in October, but they will be hard pressed to follow that result up.

They head to third placed Bridlington Town who are just two points behind Tadcaster, however, Brid have played more games than all of their title rivals. Sedge are currently seven points below the trapdoor but have games in on their relegation rivals.

Thackley face a mid-table clash as they make the journey to Clipstone, six points separate the sides but the Dennyboys can close the gap and still have three games in hand as they look for a top half finish to their campaign.

Eccleshill United were also robbed of a home game in midweek by the weather but like Albion they also have another home fixture. The Eagles’ visitors in Division One are Knaresborough Town.
