ALBION Sports are through to the second qualifying round of the FA Vase after a stunning 5-2 victory against Northern Counties East League Premier Division rivals Bridlington Town.

Karl Hall headed in an early Liam Elam free-kick and then an Alex Cusack cross as Albion raced into a 2-0 lead.

Danny Facey converted an Elam cross with an overhead kick before Bridlington pulled a goal back just before the break through Ombeni Duka.

Hopes of a comeback were soon extinguished as James Firth was at the back post to convert an Elam corner early in the second half. Duka was on target again but Hall set up Cusack to complete Albion's nap hand.

Hall should have completed his hat-trick but hit the post with a stoppage-time penalty after Facey had been brought down.
