There is just one game in the Evo-Stik Division One North this weekend and it sees FARSLEY heading to the east coast to take on Scarborough Athletic.

Neil Parsley’s men are in the play-off places and would go up to third with a win.

Parsley has Matt Dempsey back to full fitness. Te manager said: “We have had a few niggles along the way. James Riley missed two thirds of last season but we are managing his fitness.

“He picks and chooses his training sessions and is working closely with our physio Gaz Liversedge. It’s working because Rilo has missed just two games, one when he was at a wedding and another when he had tonsillitis.

“With Rilo, Matty Dempsey, Sam Hewitt, Spencer Harris and Lewis Morgan, we are blessed in the centre of defence. It’s difficult to keep them all happy and the same goes in midfield as Josh Grant and Charlie Clamp have been frustrated and I understand that but if the performances are good I can’t keep changing the team.”

Most of the other clubs are involved in the preliminary round of the FA Vase.

Brighouse Town have home advantage over league rivals Ossett Town in what looks like being a close-fought match.
