WITH progress booked in the FA Cup last weekend, Farsley will be hoping to pick up where they left off in Evo-Stik Division One North when they return to league action tomorrow.

The Villagers are a lofty third but will need to be at their best as eighth-placed Mossley head to Throstle Nest.

Neil Parsley’s men are just three points off the summit and have not lost since the opening day of the campaign.

Mossley are within one win of their hosts but have played a game more and have scored one more goal than Farsley but they have a leaky defence and have conceded almost two goals per game.

Parsley’s men are scoring at a rate of more than two per game, so a goalless draw is highly unlikely.

Neighbours Brighouse Town are also at home and would do themselves and Farsley a favour with a win over Droylsden.

The Manchester outfit are breathing down Farsley’s neck in fourth place.

Newly-promoted Town are a respectable 12th but will be looking to bounce back from consecutive home defeats.

They were beaten 4-1 by highly-fancied Spennymoor Town in their last league game and were knocked out of the FA Cup by Ashton United last Saturday.
