Marcus Edwards helped himself to two more goals for Eccleshill
The result of the day in the Northern Counties East League was Eccleshill United’s 3-0 home victory over leaders Bottesford Town in Division One.
Aaron Sanchez gave the Eagles an early lead with a well-struck free-kick and when Adam McCabe was fouled in the area midway through the first half, Marcus Edwards netted from the spot.
Eagles’ leading scorer Edwards put the gloss on the win with his second ten minutes into the second half.
