Calculators were needed to work out results in several of the weekend’s West Riding Sunday Council matches.

A bright morning turned into a showery afternoon and in order to get an outcome, under league rules, the first-innings average scores are taken and the second-innings outcome revised accordingly.

No such system was needed in DIVISION ONE as Manningham were all out for 118, leaving mid-table rivals Azeems to coast home by eight wickets with Shoket Ali hitting 67 not out.

Leaders Kashmir’s 207 all out was similarly too much for basement side AMCC, who were all out for exactly 100. Kashmir are now six points clear at the top.

Shaadi Cards’ 189 surprised higher-placed Attock United, who lost by the tightest margin of the day of three runs between showers.

Another reduced-overs match saw Westwood Park overcome second-placed Attock Tigers’ 127-9 (Imran Khan 6-32) for the loss of three wickets, Sajjad Khan leading the way with 42.

Khan won on countback against fellow strugglers Euro Windows, who were all out for 133 despite the best efforts of Mohammed Shahnawaz (50). Fazal Wazir made 53 as Khan reached a revised 131-2.

Skipton Kashmir moved off the foot of DIVISION TWO at the expense of opponents Prajapati thanks to an eight-wicket stroll.

Prajapati made 180 but Zufar Iqbal (76no) and Kier Nelson (60) made light work of the target.

Diamonds sparkled against Mayfield Royals as Basharat Hussain contributed 67 of their 260 on the way to a 94-run victory.

Indus Ghari remain top after posting an impressive 246-7 to beat Shamms, Mohammed Tayyab (61) and Azhar Lodhi (60) heading the scoring.

Shamms’ overs in reply were drastically reduced by the weather but they were still all out, Mohammed Uzair’s 5-31 helping knock them over for 118.
