New Dales Council League Division A leaders Apperley Bridge extended their lead at the top to three points after gaining a comfortable 124-run win at Hawksworth.

Having toppled previous pace-setters Rodley the week before, they carried on where they left as Mohammed Adil (77) and Mohammed Kurshid (72) starred in their 251 before skittling Hawksworth for 127.

Rodley (152-3) returned to winning ways with a seven-wicket win at Crompark (150-8).

New Wortley (161) maintained third place after a nail-biting six-run win at home to Halifax Direct (155, Naz Khan 50). Farhan Saeed (6-25) proved to be the star turn for the hosts.

Shipley Providence (135-7) returned home from their trip to Leeds Sikh (131) with a narrow win, despite the best efforts of Hari Seehra, who took a hat-trick in his 3-25 return.

Hepworth & Idle (161-2) continue to be upwardly mobile, cruising to an eight-wicket home win over visitors Hyde Park (155) as Gareth Deegan hit an unbeaten 52.

Bottom side Saville Stars were shot out for a paltry 29, with Daniel Metcalfe returning 6-8 for visitors Baildon (30-2).

For the second successive game, Division B leaders Farnley Hill were involved in another close finish.

The table-toppers reached an impressive 269-6 (Gethin Clarke 73no, Michael Watson 70) but home side Drighlington-Whitehall were not intimidated. They made 264-6 in reply, with Neil Robinson (68) and Richard Harvey (67no) ensuring the hosts came close to victory.

Second-placed Tong Manor (219-9) recorded a 114-run home win over Thornbury (105) thanks to the prolific Steve Phillips, who hit 113.

Hepworth & Idle B (201-7) remain entrenched at the bottom despite the best efforts of Dale Wood, who hit an unbeaten 101. Rodley made short work of their task, with James Horley (93) and Julian Horley (63) sharing an unbroken partnership of 195 as the hosts stormed to 206-1.

Division C leaders Tong Park (120) suffered their first defeat of the season at the hands of visitors Leeds Sikh B (124-6, Kuldeep Singh 51no).

Undercliffe (108) narrowed the gap on the leaders after a 76-run success at home to Crompark B, who were bundled out for just 32 with Phil Drake (5-3) among the wickets again.

The Division D derby at Baildon went the way of the B side, who made 210 with Kash Malik (76) and Ali Malik (52) to the fore. In reply, bottom side Baildon C closed on 168 (Dominic Kelly 79no).
