Pritesh Lad hit a remarkable 180 out of 268-8 as his club Mandhata defeated West Bowling by 130 runs in Bradford Mutual Sunday School League Group C.

Nitesh Lad then claimed 5-33 to help dismiss Bowling for 138, which enable Mandhata to reduce the gap at the top as the leading two sides were defeated.

Bowling Baptist are top by three points after they lost to Great Horton Church by 37 runs. Fifteen-year-old Sami Rehman scored 69 for Church in their 163 all out as Gaz Bashir claimed 5-41 for Bowling. Arshad Ali then took 5-68 to ensure Bowling came up short on 126.

Cross Roads & Daisy Hill Meths are second after they lost their unbeaten record to Great Horton Meths, who made 127-7 before dismissing Daisy for 108 as Anthony Moss took 4-50.

Bradford Indians are fourth after they defeated Muff Field by four wickets.

It’s all change at the top of Group A as Omars now lead the section by two points after they beat previous leaders Salem Athletic by nine wickets.

Majid Hussain claimed 6-23, including a hat-trick as Salem were all out for 63.

This defeat dropped Salem to third as Girlington took advantage of their slip-up to go second. They dismissed Cambing – who dropped to fourth – for 121 as Yasar Mahmood claimed 4-35 before scraping home by two wickets as Q Mahmood made 52.

Allerton moved off the bottom with a 23-run win over BPR. Allerton only made 118 but Akhil Mukhandin took 6-38 and Zubair Patel 4-45 to claim the spoils.

Heaton defeated Bradford Gymkhana by six wickets and Great Horton Church overcame Hallfield by 115 runs. Mohammed Azam scored 65 not out in Church’s 161, despite Faisal Usman taking 5-34, before Mohammed Bilal bagged 5-9 as Hallfield crashed to 46 all out.

Greenfield/BPR closed the gap between them and leaders Interlink to just three points in the Group B clash of the day.

Tahir Abbas scored 106 not out and Muzafar Hussain added 54 in BPR’s 234 all out, Adam Patel taking 4-23 for Interlink. In reply, the table-toppers were all out for 143, Ibrahim D Bismillah scoring 51 and Aqib Shazad Mohammed claiming 5-46.

VVS Laxman moved up to third place after they defeated Odsal by eight wickets, Paul Cuthbertson scoring 58 of Odsal’s 108 total as Rama Patel was chief destroyer with 4-10.

Bradford Gymkhana had to settle for a winning draw against Girlington. Batting first, Gymkhana made 223 all out with Shakeel Ahmed scoring 48 and Tariq Rashid taking 4-40.

In reply Girlington held out for a draw at 188-9, Zafar Ali scoring 55 and Haveed claiming 4-56 for Gymkhana.

Salem Athletic defeated Mayfield in a high scoring match. First Salem made 230-9 with Shahid Iqbal top scoring on 58, Chris Beesley taking 6-88 for Mayfield.

In reply Mayfield made 202, with James Batley scoring 88 and Abdul Afoor 44. There were four wickets each for Salem’s Azhar Ali and Shahid Iqbal.

In Group D Cambing opened up a 21-point lead after they defeated second placed Hallfield by five wickets. Fraz Ali top scored for Hallfield with 47 of their 115 all out, Adil Mair and Shamrez Ali taking four wickets each. Mair then scored 71 not out to see Cambing home with five wickets in hand.

Central YMCA move up to third after they defeated Muff Field by six wickets. Mark Davies continued his good bowling form by taking 5-19 as Muff Field were all out for 146, Alan Lee top scoring with 54, then Nigel Benson scored 46 as YMCA made 150-4.

Allerton were top scorers of the day when they scored 287-8 against Mayfield. Shan Ali made 73 and Sajid Mahmood 78 with Baddar Munir taking 6-70 for Mayfield, who then batted out for a draw at 132-8.

Buttershaw St Pauls claimed their first win of the season with a seven-wicket win over Yorkshire LPS, Aiden Winnard scoring 45 not out in their 77 for passing the LPS total of 75 all out.
