There were again contrasting fortunes for the major teams in the current competitive chase for the Dales Council League's Division A title, with leaders Leeds Sikh and second-placed Rodley both winning while the next four clubs all lost.

Leeds Sikh (187, Pardhasaradhi Koduru 70, Raghu Chandrasekaran 55) made it 11 wins in a row by defeating third-placed Hepworth & Idle (136) by 51 runs.

Rodley (246-8, Mark Hobson 87, Simon Raistrick 68) beat Farnley Hill (110, Simon Dickens 5-23) by 136 runs.

However, fourth-placed Shipley Providence (109, Mohammed Ebrar 5-28) lost by four wickets to Baildon (113-6) with opener Leon Risdon seeing Baildon home with 68 not out.

Hyde Park's winning run came to an end when Crompark (170-9) were 113 runs too good, bowling them out for 57 (Vineet Verma 5-17).

And there was a shock when bottom-placed Charco’s New Wortley (280-7, Farhan Saeed 94, Usman Rasool 54) defeated early leaders Halifax Direct (249), while Hawksworth (241-7, Owais Khan 97, Naveed Andrabi 53) beat Cookridge (98, Neil Bonnington 51) by 143 runs.

Division B pacesetters Apperley Bridge bowled out Pudsey Congs for 178 (Graham Curtis 43), and in reply scored 179-8 (Zafar Jadoon Khan 53) in a tight game.

Second-placed Savile Stars travelled to Drighlington-Whitehall and recovered from the loss of early wickets to make 161 and then bowled the hosts out for 77 to win by 84 runs and keep up the pressure on leaders Apperley Bridge.

In Division C, runaway leaders Apperley Bridge B (405-9, Hasan Zeb 77no, Ghulam Rehman 60, Tufail Ahmed 57, Sohail Ahmed 56no, Mohammed Fida 54) had a massive 293-run win over Shipley Providence B (112, Ali Shahid 46).

Second-placed Thornbury B (165, Salmon Sayed 56) had a 15-run win over Leeds Sikh B (150, Mitej Gala 52).

In Division D, the top two met at Laisterdyke, with second-placed Undercliffe (277, Adam Shabir 100no, Mark Cooper 5-59) beating Crompark B (154) by 123 runs to take over at the top, switching places with the losers.
