Shelf Cricket Club, already beaten by Shelf Bantams - the village's Bradford City Supporters' Club branch - at cricket, are preparing themselves for Sunday's football clash between the two teams at Shelf Park (2.00).
Money raised between the clubs, who are both based at the Shoulder of Mutton, will go towards Shelf Cricket Club's fund for a new pavilion.
Items that will be raffled include a signed football shirt by Johnstone's Paint Trophy finalists Carlisle United.
Anyone wanting to donate money should send cheques, made payable to Shelf Cricket Club New Pavilion Fund, to Jack Wilson at 7 Wellfield Gardens, West Scholes, BD13 1NY.
