Solly Sports Central Yorkshire League fixture secretary David Clegg has apologised for giving clubs league fixtures on Sundays this season.
The league have 57 teams organised into four divisions of 12 teams and a Fourth Division of nine teams, who will play each other three times.
The season will start on Saturday, April 16 and finish on Saturday, September 10, with the top four divisions (Premier, One, Two and Three) playing 22 matches, and Division Four 20 matches.
Clegg said at the league’s annual meeting at Ossett Cricket Club: “There will be occasional Sunday games for the Fourth Division.
“Methley B have four Sunday fixtures, for example. This is totally unavoidable because we needed more Saturdays than were available. We will see what we can do for next year.”
