Struggling Halifax Direct were rewarded with a welcome 19 points to ease their relegation problems by beating bottom-placed Pudsey Congs by 50 runs. Surprise of the day was the eight-wicket win by Hawksworth over Rodley, who are having a few injury problems, even though Gary Walton scored 80 not out in their total of 168. Baildon B are still chasing the leaders in Division C East after another win over Pudsey Congs, who found conditions at the Baildon ground too hard to handle after James Cottle took 5-18 to dismiss Congs for 48, wicket-keeper Leon Risdon taking three catches.
