Jacques Rudolph has scored a brilliant century to keep Yorkshire's hopes of saving their County Championship match against Nottinghamshire at Headingley firmly alive.
The 29 year-old South African has notched his third century of the season, passing 1,000 four-day runs for the season for the fourth year running.
Yorkshire, who began their second innings with a deficit of 367, have reached a commanding 196-1 from 57 overs at tea on day three.
Rudolph and Adam Lyth (37) shared 58 for the first wicket, and Rudolph and Anthony McGrath have also shared a crucial 138 for the second.
The left hander greeted his ton with a punch of the fist, getting there off 155 balls with 17 boundaries.
He has since been dropped on 100 by Ally Brown at slip off the left arm spin of Samit Patel.
Rudolph will begin the evening session on 104 and McGrath on 45.
