Bradford Mutual Sunday School League president Alan Broadbent says it is a “disgrace” that only 40 copies of the league’s Sir James Roberts Cup centenary booklet have been sold.
He said at a recent league meeting: “Steve Mudd put a lot of effort into compiling the booklet and we printed 130.”
Paul Newbould, vice-chairman of the league’s umpires’ association, added: “It is indicative of the apathy that sometimes prevails in this league.”
Meanwhile, the league went a step closer to bringing identity cards into the league, a vote on it going 11-8 in favour of looking into it further.
The Bradford Central League have had identity cards in place for three seasons.
