The Bradford Mutual Sunday School Cricket League are seeking sponsors for the league itself, their two cup competitions and their Twenty20 tour-nament.
Any firm that is interested should contact league secretary Joy Butterfield on 01274-727932.
Treasurer Bernard Greaves said at the league’s October meeting: “We have made a loss for the past five years”, while Steve Mudd, a member of the umpires’ association’s executive committee, said: “We are losing about £700 a year.”
In response to this, the league have agreed to increase team subscriptions by £10, with 18 voting for and two against.
Chairman Nick Spachis said: “The annual subscription for a first team will now be £60 (up form £50) and for a second team £50 (up from £40), as well as a £10 charge for handbooks and £10 for each of the two cup competitions.”
