A repeat of last year’s Sovereign Health Care Priestley Cup final is still on the cards after holders Pudsey Congs and Cleckheaton were kept apart in tonight’s last-four draw.

Defending champions Congs will host East Bierley while Cleckheaton entertain Woodlands, with both matches scheduled for Sunday, August 10 (1pm).

There will be added spice to the second of these semi-finals, with Cleckheaton having ended Woodlands’ 32-match unbeaten Bradford League run earlier in the season.

The Priestley Shield semi-final draw was also made at tonight’s management board meeting and saw East Bierley paired with Gomersal and Hanging Heaton taking on Cleckheaton.
