IMRAN Khalid, who played for Mayfield last season in the Bradford & District Evening League, picked up a major scalp while playing for Islamabad United in the inaugural Pakistan Super League.
The 33-year-old Settle professional played in the first match in the tournament in Dubai and trapped Kevin Pietersen lbw for eight in an eight-wicket defeat against Quetta Gladiators.
Khalid, who was the only Islamabad bowler to take any wickets, picked up 2-20 from his four overs, also bowling Pakistan Test player Ahmed Shehzad for 11.
Islamabad's squad also includes Australian all-rounder Shane Watson, England wicket-keeper Sam Billings, West Indians Andre Russell and Samuel Badree and Pakistan Test players Misbah-ul-Haq, Saeed Ajmal, Mohammad Irfan and Umar Amin.
They also lost to Peshawar Zalmi (24 runs) before they beat Karachi Kings, with Khalid bowling the only maiden of the match.
