A round of Waddilove Cup shocks produced only four Division One sides in the June 17 quarter-finals and two of them, Collingham and Kirkstall will meet.

Kirkstall knocked out Bilton, holders of the trophy for the last three years, and means in-form Guiseley must be relishing the chance to add to their record 20 appearances in the final and pick up the victory that would take them level on 11 with Otley.

Guiseley, who won the trophy in successive seasons from 2001 to 2003, made short work of Calverley, Joe Davies leading the way with a four for 16 spell as the visitors were dismissed for 76 in a nine-wicket win.

Phil Leng was at the centre of one of the shocks of the day, Harden's 22-run triumph over Division One Beckwithshaw.

He and Matthew Higgs put on 51 in a last-wicket stand to help Harden to 148 for nine, then Leng produced a stunning 6.1-over spell of three for six as the visitors crumbled.

Daryl Robinson (87) was the star of the show as Addingham also beat opposition from a higher division, overcoming Upper Wharfedale by 44 runs.

And Gareth Wilkinson's half-century for Tong Park was central to their giant-killing, knocking out Burley for whom Joel Wylie took five for 26.

Steeton, the only one of the remaining top-flight clubs to have won the trophy, passed Alwoodley's 155 for six in just 28 overs, thanks to some sparkling batting from James Proctor (60no) and Neil Spragg (62no).

Bolton Villas found Pool too much to handle and the visitors passed their 111 total without loss, James Ward leading the way with 81.

Quarter-final draw: Collingham v Kirkstall, Harden v Tong Park, Pool v Guiseley, Steeton v Addingham.
