Six clubs have joined the Bradford & District Evening League for next season.
They are Keighley, Oakworth, Shipley Providence, Stonewhite, Thackley and Wibsey Park Chapel. Both Keighley and Stonewhite will use Lawkholme Lane for their home matches.
Green Lane, another potential newcomer, failed to turn up for the league’s annual meeting at East Bierley Cricket Club, while HSA resigned at short notice so the league are seeking an additional club to take the total to 26.
Interested clubs should contact league secretary Steve Priestley on 07866-052666.
League chairman Tom Priestley said: “We were working on having 26 clubs until HSA resigned so now we are looking for one more club to get us back to an even number.
“We used to have five divisions but this is the first time that I can remember six clubs applying in one go, and I have been chairman for 30 years.”
