Farsley are in rude health after a superb run in Evo-Stik League Division One North and victory on Saturday could see them go top if leaders Mossley slip up.
The second-placed Throstle Nest side host mid-table Cammell Laird looking for their seventh league victory on the bounce.
The latest victory for Neil Parsley’s men was Tuesday’s 3-0 win at Goole AFC and leaves them two points behind Mossley, who visit eighth-placed Salford City.
Farsley are ahead of Clitheroe, who travel to Ossett Town, on goal difference, while fourth-placed Skelmersdale United are just two points behind but are in a good position with four games in hand.
Parsley said: “All we can hope to do is keep winning and keep the momentum going. I cannot stress enough that it is early days and there is a lot of football to be played this season. But we have put ourselves in a good position thanks to our good run.”
