Mark Wigley’s hat-trick not quite enough for Marsh

Mark Wigley scored a hat-trick for Marsh but it was not enough to secure a Spen Valley League victory at Vision.

The Premier Division clash finished 3-3 as Chris Lever (2) and Lloyd Webster replied.

BD3 United are top of the early table on goal difference after a 5-3 win against Bradford.

Goals from Ihtisham Yasin (2), Ishaq Mohammed, Majid Ali and Sheraz Mahmood outweighed those from Ben Neale and Sean Addy.

Fairbank United are joint-top after edging out Girlington 1-0 thanks to a Faisal Shibir strike.

TVR United are still searching for their first point after losing 3-1 to Savile Youth, who had Bobat, Adam and Huzsaifa on target.

Aaron Irvin scored a double hat-trick as ALC swamped Howden Clough 10-2 in Division One . Ashley Muff (3) and James Chadwick completed the tally.

Amazingly it was the same score as Ravensthorpe Bulls beat Cleckheaton Sporting, with goals flowing from Dominic Simpson (4), Alb Nichols (3), jamie Simpson, Le Ashton and Tomasz Biegi. Alan Wilks and R Foster responded.

ALC and Ravensthorpe remain with 100 per cent records after three games - as do Soothill, who beat Fairbank Reserves 5-2, and Savile United, who edged out Inter Batley 2-1.

It was Fairbank’s first dropped points as they conded goals to Soothill quartet Ashley Barnes (2), Gary Foley, Dave Martin and Raffa.

Savile had Mofhin Aoha and Faisal Adam goals to thank for their win against Inter, who replied through Mazhare.

Bulls Head Dewsbury (Mohammed Shohib, Sam Pickles, Dominic Hinchcliffe) beat BD3 Reserves (B Hussain) 3-1, which was also the score as Norfolk (I Loonat 2, I Farooq) defeated Heckmondwike Sports (Craig Sykes).
