Brighouse Town moved to the summit of the Baris Northern Counties East League Premier Division with a win in midweek, and they could strengthen their position tomorrow.
Town head to Retford United on a weekend when many of their league rivals are side-tracked by the FA Vase.
Retford are eighth and have played one game less than Town, so they are handily placed and will provide a tough test for the new leaders.
Eccleshill United are already out of the Vase and are in desperate need of points to improve their placing in Division One.
However, the Eagles will have to be on top form as they head to pacesetters Athersley Recreaction.
The Eagles will have manager Ian Banks’ words ringing in their ears following a 4-0 defeat in midweek and will have to channel that into a good display on the pitch because he is demanding a huge performance.
