Silsden have been denied a chance to get Saturday’s FA Cup exit out of their system because neighbours and rivals Colne are still in the competition.

The Cobbydalers were due to make the short trip over the Pennine peaks tomorrow night for a North West Counties League Premier Division clash but the match has been shelved.

While Silsden were suffering a loss, at home to Brighouse Town in a derby, Colne were held at home in the extra-preliminary round.

The Cobbydalers were looking to get back into action and playing for league points but Colne must replay Congleton Town.

Another FA Cup replay tomorrow night sees Pickering Town at home to Jarrow Roofing Bolden CA.

The local interest there is that Farsley will play the winners of that tie in the next round a week on Saturday.

Albion Sports also have a cup tie but they are limited to Baris Northern Counties East League Cup action.

Sports are in their second season on the non-league ladder and so are not yet eligible for the FA Cup.

Kulwinder Sandhu’s men travel to NCE newcomers Athersley Recreation, who have had a better start in the league than their visitors.

Athersley are currently joint top, having taken four points from two games.
