Albion Sports 5, Shirebrook Town 0
Aron Heywood struck a hat-trick as Albion Sports went nap in the final Baris Northern Counties East League game of their first season on the non-league ladder.
Heywood netted twice in the first half and completed his treble after the break at Throstle Nest.
Substitute Adam Jones made it four and Alex Cusack wrapped up the scoring to ensure Albion ended their Division One campaign on a high.
Manager Kulwinder Sandhu said: “That is it now – the season is over and it has been a tiring one.
“We finished fourth and just one point outside the top three, so that was very good considering.
“It is a pity to come so close without doing it (gaining promotion) but we will learn from it.”
