Witton Albion 3, Farsley AFC 0
Farsley will not be looking forward to a fixture this Saturday as they exited the Evo-Stik League Division One play-offs following a 3-0 defeat at Witton Albion tonight.
A close-range finish from Witton’s Alex Titchener broke the deadlock midway through the first half, and a curling shot from Josh Hancock doubled the home side’s lead on the stroke of half-time.
When Anthony Gardener netted a penalty just before the hour, it was game over for Neil Parsley’s men.
Farsley's press officer James Grayson said: “We were clinging to hope and not much else at half-time. The second half was not much better and we didn’t really trouble their keeper, so Witton deserved their win.”
