Silsden’s patchy form this season can be summed up by their last three results – a draw, followed by a win and then defeat on Tuesday at Ramsbottom.
The Cobbydalers lost 3-0 against the team who top the North West Counties Premier Division and Saturday's trip will be no less of a test as they head to second-placed Runcorn.
Cobbydalers spokesman Jim Rosser said: “John Douglas will be doubtful because he was down for a long while before he was helped off at Rammy.
“He wasn’t the only one injured in the game either and after it there were several long faces.
“Lets hope we have Steven Palfrey back and a few of the others lads recover from knocks because we have some suspensions coming up and our keeper James Mann is doing the London marathon, so he will miss a few games because of training and the race.
“It’s a good job we’re in a safe position before the run-in starts.”
