Keith Lulia is poised to make his Bulls debut against Wigan on Sunday after being named in Mick Potter’s 19-man squad.
The centre, a close-season signing from Newcastle Knights, has shaken off a hamstring injury and could replace the stricken Adrian Purtell in the starting line-up.
But backrower Ian Sibbit picked up a shoulder injury during last weekend's victory at Castleford and misses out, though he is expected to come back into contention for next weekend's trip to Wakefield.
Phil Joseph is expected to be among the 17 players on duty on Sunday as Purtell, Sibbit and James Donaldson drop out from last week's squad due to injury.
Bulls squad: Elliot Kear, Matt Diskin, Keith Lulia, Elliott Whitehead, Heath L'Estrange, Tom Burgess, Jason Crookes, Luke Gale, Bryn Hargreaves, Jarrod Sammut, Brett Kearney, Craig Kopczak, Michael Platt, Jamie Langley, Nick Scruton, Paul Sykes, Phil Joseph, Ben Jeffries, Chev Walker
