Both Thackley and Brighouse Town have tough home games in different competitions tomorrow night.
Town host Baris Northern Counties East League Premier Division title-chasers Bridlington Town, who are currently third - eight points off the summit but with three games in hand.
Brid will be difficult opponents for Town, who go into the game licking their wounds from a 3-0 home defeat to fourth-placed Winterton Rangers.
Thackley are in League Cup action, and though they have home advantage for the third-round tie, their visitors are Retford United, the team Brid are trying to hunt down at the top the league.
Dennyfield boss Vince Brockie said: "It will be a tough tie but if Retford are more focused on the league, we might get a result.
"We are trying our best in this competition because it is a chance to win something."
Thackley enjoyed a 4-0 home win over neighbouring Liversedge at the weekend, so confidence will be high.
