Guiseley are to host a charity six-a-side tournament on Sunday, February 5 to mark the reopening of their 3G all-weather pitch.

The event will be held in partnership with Guiseley Lions and proceeds are to be shared between a local cause supported by the Lions and Pancreatic Cancer UK’s Campaign For Hope.

Teams wishing to compete can register via e-mail at guiseley.football@hotmail.co.uk or by calling 07557-790446.

The cost is £5 per team member and a £10 deposit is required per team, who must be at the ground to sign in at 9.30am. Matches begin at 10am.

Prizes will be presented by Stuart Andrew, MP for Pudsey, who is backing the cancer charity campaign and is entering a team himself.
