A cracking West Riding County FA Sunday Cup tie is the pick of this weekend’s matches as Bradford Sunday Alliance League clubs return to action after the Christmas break.
Sandy Lane, who are fourth in Division One, host Premier Division leaders Buttershaw White Star in the fourth round at Marley Stadium.
Cup holders West Bowling are second behind White Star in the top-flight table and face a tricky trip to Harrogate League outfit Boroughbridge.
But if both Bradford clubs survive their ties, they will meet in what should be a momentous quarter-final showdown.
Queensbury also have a tough tie as they entertain Leeds Premier team Belle Isle WMC at Foxhill Park, while Wyke Wanderers must negotiate a delayed third-round clash at home to Littletown.
Sunday Trophy action includes Red Lion of Division 3B hosting Field Head from Batley in the third round, with Division 2B side New Tyke Rangers travelling to Greetland to tackle Waiter’s Arms in round four.
