Silsden won for the first time in seven North West Counties League Premier Division games last time out and will look to build on that at home to fifth-placed Glossop North End on Saturday.
The Cobbydalers are 15th in the table, having jumped up two places following Bank Holiday Monday’s 4-0 win at Padiham.
It was a welcome victory for the Cobbydalers, who had taken just two points from a possible 18, as they cut loose at their red rose neighbours to go above them.
Club official Jim Rosser said: “Not only did we win but we were back in the goals.
“It was also good that the goals came from other players, rather than Andy Lee and Joe Gaughan.
“Those two have been under pressure because everyone has been looking at them to get the goals and it has weighed heavy on them. Now that has been lifted they might rediscover their touch.”
