Campion have a tough task as they bid to reach the quarter-finals of the West Riding County FA Challenge Cup at Beeston St Anthony’s on Saturday.

Their Leeds hosts currently top the West Yorkshire League Premier Division. Campion go into the tie without a game since beating Aberford Albion 3-0 in the previous round when Andy Benjamin scored all three in early December.

The West Riding County Amateur League is due to get underway after a three-week festive break. Tyersal, who moved into top spot in the Premier Division after beating Wibsey 4-0 before Christmas, hope to hold on to their two-point advantage with victory at home to lowly Littletown.

Second-placed Ovenden West Riding visit champions Bay Athletic.

Wibsey, with only two victories from 15 league games, entertain Hall Green United, who are only six points better off, while Steeton start the second half of their season at Lower Hopton.

With games in hand of all their Division One promotion rivals, second-placed Salts host Westbrook YMCA. Leaders Lepton Highlanders are without a game.
