Bolton Woods and West Bowling will be flying the flag for the Bradford Sunday Alliance League on the national stage this weekend.
The Premier Division duo are the league’s only entrants in the FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION SUNDAY CUP.
In fact, only four teams from the whole of the West Riding district are in the first round this season and unfortunately both Alliance clubs have been drawn away from home.
Woods travel to the midlands to take on Belt Road at Brereton Town’s ground, while Bowling have a shorter trip to Merseyside to face Liverpool Premier League outfit Orbiter at Newton.
It is also BRADFORD & DISTRICT FA SUNDAY SENIOR CUP weekend for Alliance League clubs.
Top-flight leaders Buttershaw White Star host Wharfedale Premier outfit Salts and Westwood Park have Division One opposition in White Eagles.
Another tie between Premier and Division One teams will be at East Bierley as Wyke Wanderers tackle Manningham.
Relay Recruitment Rovers visit Prospect in a match they should expect to win.
Bolton Woods Socials have attractive opposition at home to Division One side Cuedos Rangers, who have a habit of needing more than 90 minutes to settle cup ties.
In the lower-ranked BRADFORD & DISTRICT FA SUNDAY CUP, Bridge – who are going well in Division Four – have Division 2A visitors in Pudsey United.
