Neil Parsley could be without six regulars for Saturday’s top-eight clash at AFC Fylde in Evo-Stik League Division One North.
Keeper Tom Morgan is definitely out after confirmation he broke a shoulder in last Saturday’s 3-2 defeat at Curzon Ashton. Josh Radcliffe and Dave Briggs are both serving the second game of three-match suspensions, while Ryan Serrant, Tom Jackson and Steve Mallory are struggling with injuries.
The west coast outfit are three spots behind their fifth-placed visitors but have three games in hand and have lost only once at home this season. Parsley admitted the unavailabilties could not be more untimely.
He said: “This is something we didn’t need going into this game at this stage of the season because we have a tough October.
“I’m not ruling Steve out just yet but he had very severe bruising all week.
“The other five are definitely out though but that gives others a chance.
“We finished last week’s game with Ryan Watson and Modu Jobe, two 18-year-olds, in midfield last week and they did well.
“We also have Partrick Belic back and he could feature in Saturday’s squad.”
