T&A sports correspondent Mike Popplewell and his 17-year-old son son Ben unexpectedly found themselves lining up together for ALC in their opening Yorkshire Christian League Cup tie against Bowling Eagles.
A rush of late withdrawals and injuries led to the the duo being drafted in as substitutes for the entire second half and, while Eagles finished 5-1 winners, Mike, 67, was just delighted to finish!
