New leaders Brighouse Town will be looking for the home victory that will keep them at the summit of the Baris Northern Counties East League Premier Division when they take on struggling Nostell MW at the Dual Seal Stadium on Saturday.
Town have banked three points from their last three league games under new manager Paul Quinn and will hope to extend that winning run.
Their visitors are third from bottom and have picked up just five points from their opening nine games.
Should Town slip up, near-neighbours Thackley could be in a position to snatch top spot.
The Dennyboys are third following three away wins on the trot and this weekend they have home advantage over lowly Arnold Town.
While Thackley are riding the crest of a wave, being unbeaten in the league since August, Arnold are fourth from the foot of the table.
They have played fewer games than many of their rivals but are averaging lass than a point per game.
