Craig Fagan is ready to fall in love with football again by going back to where it started.

The former Hull striker makes his home debut for City this afternoon determined to banish memories of a torrid year.

Sixteen months after playing in the Premier League, Fagan is looking to kick-start his career again in League Two.

But the 28-year-old, who came on as sub at Crawley, has no qualms about rebuilding from the bottom.

He said: “Having played in some of the best divisions in England, I’m sure some of the players at that level wouldn’t understand the way football is (at this one).

“Grounds aren’t as closed in, it’s windier and colder. But I’ve done it before with Colchester.

“I’ve played at Layer Road on a freezing Tuesday night in front of 4,000 fans, so I’m sure I can do it at Bradford City in a better stadium."
