Salthorn WMC are hoping to clean up at their fundraiser tomorrow and complete the installation of new shower facilities.
Players are currently unable to wash at the Victoria Park ground, a problem which also prevents teams from using the clubhouse after matches and thereby generating match-day income.
Work is already well underway on the project but extra money is needed to purchase a boiler and a humidifying cylinder to complete the job.
Events begin at 11am at Victoria Park with a Lads v WAGs game, followed by a barbecue, face painting, children’s disco, snooker and karaoke competitions and a music quiz.
