Liversedge ended their pre-season campaign with a 2-1 defeat at home to Garforth Town.
Former player Paul Walker was instrumental in Garforth’s win. A Walker cross led to an own goal early in the second but minutes later a good move involving Chris Wood and Joe Hewitt set up Alex Hallam for the equaliser.
Just after the hour mark, Walker showed his class with a neat take and volley that proved to be the winner.
